N2VATE develops capitalization strategies for startup and early stage companies for medical device and scientific instruments. However, it doesn't stop there. The intent is not to just be a connection to capital resources – that's just one important part of the commercialization process - but rather to provide you the means to manage the whole product lifecycle process using N2VATE's entire compliment of services and experience. Currently, we use several approaches to develop a capitalization strategy:
N2VATE has developed a network of investors and business connections that are resources for capital and partnering. We help prepare and present qualifying ventures to various capital resources for consideration for funding, partnering, or licensing. This involves administration and success fee. N2VATE can be contracted, as necessary, to help you prepare to successfully approach funding resources.
This is a specialized third-party executive search for C-level, VP-level, or Director-level personnel who will invest in your venture and join to work in your organization. You acquire capital backing and experienced 'human capital' at the same time. You interview, choose, and negotiate your deal from among the search candidates. The investment range is typically $125K – $500K USD per candidate. This service has limited availability outside the USA and is generally more applicable to early stage ventures that meet minimum requirements. This takes the minimal cost for N2VATE to administer, and there is a success fee charged on the back end for successful placements.
Very deep experience and a large 'rolodex' of industry and capital resource / partner connections in medical device / healthcare space provide a potent capitalization strategy, including non-dilutive solutions. $100M's have been raised and numerous partnerships and ventures created by these associates. This involves retainer and success fee.
Selected qualified ventures will be processed and submitted for SBIR non-dilutive capital. This involves administration and back-end success fee. Additional grant writing services, and grant locator services are available. Earlier stage ventures still needing to establish and validate the fundamental technology, or develop 'bread-board' / proof of concept may be best served from grant funding such as SBIR.
